Advanced Science for Your Growing Family
When traditional fertility treatments have not led to a successful pregnancy, In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) represents the gold standard in assisted reproductive technology. By bringing the miracle of fertilization into a controlled, high-precision laboratory environment, IVF overcomes many of the most complex biological barriers to parenthood.
In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) is an advanced fertility treatment that helps individuals and couples conceive by combining an egg and sperm outside the body in a controlled laboratory environment. Once fertilization occurs, the resulting embryo is carefully transferred into the uterus to achieve pregnancy.
IVF is one of the most effective assisted reproductive techniques and is widely used to treat a variety of fertility challenges when natural conception is not successful.
IVF is recommended for individuals or couples experiencing:
It is often considered when other treatments have not resulted in pregnancy or when a more advanced approach is needed.
The IVF process is a carefully orchestrated sequence of steps, each managed by our expert team of clinicians and embryologists.
To maximize the chances of success, the patient takes hormonal medications for 8 to 14 days to encourage the ovaries to produce multiple mature eggs, rather than the single egg usually produced each month.
During stimulation, we use frequent ultrasounds and blood tests to track the development of the follicles. This ensures the medications are working optimally and safely.
Once the follicles reach the ideal size, a "trigger shot" is given. Roughly 36 hours later, the eggs are collected during a brief, minimally invasive procedure performed under light sedation. Our specialists use ultrasound guidance to retrieve the eggs with a fine needle—no incisions or stitches are required.
The retrieved eggs are joined with sperm in the lab. In cases of male-factor infertility, a single healthy sperm may be injected directly into an egg via ICSI (Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection). Our embryologists then monitor the developing embryos in state-of-the-art incubators for 3 to 5 days.
The most viable embryo is selected for transfer. This is a simple procedure, similar to a Pap smear, where the embryo is placed into the uterus using a thin catheter. Any remaining high-quality embryos can be cryopreserved (frozen) for future use.
Depending on individual needs, IVF may include:
Each treatment plan is customized based on medical history and fertility goals.
